The role of our fundraising directors includes:
Establishing and presenting fundraising project ideas to board; organizing and/or pursuing volunteers to manage specific fundraising projects;
Determining adequate yearly fundraising requirements for each program; assigning fundraising point amounts to fundraising and volunteer projects/activities;
Collecting and managing fundraising post-dated cheques; calculating full or partial refunds if applicable;
Administering financial responsibilities; reporting on a monthly basis the status of fundraising accounts; and
Attending monthly board meetings
Experience is not required; however our preferred experience includes previous, volunteering, education and/or employment in a related field. Patience, determination and being strong willed are beneficial qualities.
