The role of our secretary includes:
Taking, preparing, and providing meeting minutes to board members; making meeting minutes accessible to general membership (parents);
Maintaining records of meeting minutes, policies and the constitution;
Maintaining current board member list, notifying members of meetings; and
Attending monthly board meetings
Experience is not required; however our preferred experience includes previous, volunteering, education and/or employment in a related field. Practical use / knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically word is beneficial.
