The role of our competitive and recreational director includes:

• Consulting with the head coach to gain knowledge of upcoming activities, events and competitions;

• Organizing and arranging logistical aspects of activities, events and competitions; i.e. cleaning of gymnastics centre, canteen services, gymnasts’ competition gifts, etc…;

• Establishing and presenting fundraising projects ideas specific to out of province competitions, i.e. Calgary team trip competition;

• Organizing and pursuing volunteers to assist with logistical aspects of gym activities including for out of province competition fundraising projects;

• Attending monthly board meetings

Experience is not required; however our preferred experience includes previous, volunteering, education and/or employment in a related field.  Patience, determination and being strong willed are beneficial qualities.
